There’s a monster smash-up of Christmas racing on the horizon this weekend and Paddy’s as giddy as a goose.

However with a few intended Christmas runners from both Ireland and the UK at Kempton, Leopardstown and Chepstow now stopped in their tracks because of the Christmas travel ban – Paddy’s decided to void all bets on those runners and give you your money back!

The refunds will be paid in cash – not free bets – on win and each-way wagers, with no maximum stake limits on both singles and multiples. Bravo!

The affected runners and races are:

King George VI Chase – Monalee
Wayward Lad Novice Chase – Benruben
Desert Orchid Chase – Put The Kettle On
Welsh Grand National – Moyhenna
Handicap Chase – Plan Of Attack
Leopardstown Christmas Hurdle – Thomas Darby

The traditional Christmas Racing Festivals get underway on December 26 with Kempton hosting the first of its two-day King George VI Chase in the UK, while the four-day Leopardstown Christmas Festival also comes under orders on the same day.

The Welsh Grand National takes centre-stage on Sunday, December 27th, with Kempton and Leopardstown also going to post.

And with Paddy also set to give away a million quid on New Year’s Day at Cheltenham, it’s all bubbling up nicely for one of the best racing weeks of the year.
