Another Saturday, another €/£10k weekly winner as Garth from Godalming in Surrey became the sixth and final qualifier for Paddy Power’s Millionaire Chase on New Year’s Day.
Garth backed Not So Sleepy(20/1) to win the 3.35pm at Ascot on Saturday and was then picked out as the €/£10k weekly prize winner in Monday night’s draw on Paddy Power’s Facebook and Twitter channels.
Garth in Godalming is our 6th Millionaire Chase finalist! He wins 10k cash guaranteed, and a shot at a million on New Year’s Day!
When I was a cop my horse during my time in the force had a white strip down its nose like Not So Sleepy – so that’s how I picked it out last Saturday. I enjoy the odd punt at the weekend and usually just pick the horse I think looks nicest.
Not bad! What will you do if you win the £1m?
If I win the top prize on New Year’s Day, I’ll buy my daughter a flat and my wife will retire early. I think I’ll also become Milford’s (just outside the village of Godalming) most famous person ahead of QPRs Jamie Mackey and Dame Penelope Keith!
And if you weren’t one of the lucky ones who qualified through the weekly winner element of the draw – fear not as there’s still a chance to land the £1m bounty this weekthrough Paddy’s Rewards Club.

More importantly, Garth now goes forward as the sixth and final finalist in Paddy Power’s Millionaire Chase at Cheltenham on New Year’s Day with the chance to win a million quid. Literally.
