This should be a good opportunity for Cheltenham Festival third RAYNA’S WORLD to get off the mark over hurdles, and she arrives on the back of a solid second on the Flat last Saturday. Point winner Southern Girl has improved with each run under rules and could be best of the rest, ahead of Sidi Ismael.

14:40 Flood Defence
Trainer Iain Jardine saddles two likely contenders in Camile and handicap debutante FLOOD DEFENCE (NAP), with the last-named getting the vote on the back of an improved effort over hurdles last time and a decent recent run on the Flat. Others to consider include Hey Bob and Garde Forestier.
15:15 Janeymac
Several horses with chasing potential feature in an open novices’ handicap. Haasab, Maid O’Malley, Cobaltic and Ballydonagh Boy certainly fall into that category and are worth checking in the betting, but JANEYMAC impressed when making a winning chasing debut in Ireland and could have got in here on a fair mark on her debut for Mark Walford. Glorious Lady is another to consider.
15:50 Adjali
Barring mishaps, this should go to ADJALI, who was the best of these over hurdles and is sure to have been well prepared for his chasing debut by the champion trainer. Taxmeifyoucanand Mighty Thunder also start out over fences and can give him most to do
16:25 Event Of Sivola
A few of these have good runs in them and Orioninverness is of more interest than most off his current mark and given a longer gap between his races this time. EVENT OF SIVOLA was getting to grips with chasing in Britain in the New Year though, and this trip will suit him a lot better than when a keeping-on fourth to the race-fit Graystown here recently. First Man has to be respected on his recent hurdle form, but his efforts over fences previously were a horror show so he has something to prove despite a tempting chase mark
