GOLDEN GIFT showed fairly useful form in bumpers in 2018/19, finishing second at both Wincanton and Chepstow, and shaped with plenty of encouragement on his hurdling debut at the latter track on his sole start last season. That turned out to be a decent event, and Golden Gift is open to improvement now, so looks a strong contender for an in-form yard on his first run since undergoing a breathing operation.
15:27 Oscars Moonshine (Next Best)
OSCARS MOONSHINE proved an opening mark of 99 all wrong when winning with plenty in hand at Hereford earlier this month. He made short work of his rivals turned out under a penalty at Exeter five days ago, again travelling powerfully and quickening clear on the run-in. Oscars Moonshine is clearly thriving at present and looks a strong contender to complete a hat-trick turned out under another 7lb penalty.

16:37 Guardia Top (Each Way)
This doesn’t look the strongest handicap and it could be worth taking a chance on GUARDIA TOP, who looks well handicapped on the pick of her hurdles form. She didn’t shape badly on her first two starts over fences this year, but wasn’t in the same form last time, so it is no surprise that connections now switch her back to timber. The return to two miles is also in her favour and it would be no surprise were she bang in the mix.
