The consistent La Voix Magique could also be in the mix, while the first-time blinkers could give the well-handicapped Gometra Ginty a boost.

This should be a good opportunity for DANZENO to gain a much-deserved first win of 2020, having enjoyed an admirably consistent campaign. Lampang showed significant promise in a light two-year-old campaign and is a fascinating runner on this reappearance, but talented top weight Makanah could pose the main threat to the selection.
14:30 National League
Wide open, but the third-place finish of NATIONAL LEAGUE in a warm three-year-old handicap at Doncaster last month reads well in today’s context and his next run may have come too soon. The improving Marshal Dan is feared most, while Idoapologise is also going the right way. 2018 winner Hayadh likes it here and Gale Force Maya should be thereabouts once more.

15:00 Autumn Flight
He showed at Thirsk three starts ago that he is difficult to reel in when things go his way, and the front-runner AUTUMN FLIGHT may not face much pressure for the lead today. The progressive filly Gorgeous Gobolina is feared most, ahead of fellow course and distance winner Primo’s Comet.
15:30 Economic Crisis
She wasn’t at her best last time, but ECONOMIC CRISIS has had a bit more of a break and this 11-year-old is taken to add to this season’s three wins, two of them over C&D. Afandem won by 4 lengths on his sole course visit and is feared most, while Ventura Flame, Royal Brave and Major Pusey all arrive in good form.
16:00 Boudica Bay
Northern Society isn’t handicapped out of things despite a 6lb hike for her recent C&D win and can go well. There should be a big run in Refuge from his high draw, but this represents an ease in grade for BOUDICA BAY and she is taken to record her fourth C&D success.
16:30 Dreamseller
He has already had a lucrative season, but the style of his latest success suggests DREAMSELLER (NAP) is still improving and may have more to offer at this new trip. He is fancied to strike again at the chief expense of Zeshov, while Aegeus and Le Bayou are ones to keep a close eye on in the betting.
