Horse Racing tips: Your 3 best bets for Tipperary on Sunday

A nap, next best & each-way play for today.

Stamp Your Feet – 14:38 Tipperary (N.B.)

Stamp Your Feet returned to form reverted to fences on his reappearance at Roscommon in July, deserving of extra credit too given he hardly enjoyed the run of things back over a shorter trip than is his optimum, still having plenty to do on the home turn but staying on strongly to lead in the dying strides. He was not in the same form at Kilbeggan last time, but he was also not seen to best effect, again having plenty to do but hampered after two out this time. He hasn’t won over hurdles for a while now but has fallen significantly in the weights as a result, so he is expected to be bang there.

Galvin – 15:38 Tipperary (nap)

Galvin, who ended last season with a tremendous second at the Cheltenham Festival, was presented with a straightforward task on his return to action at Killarney in July, and he never looked like getting beat, four lengths ahead and coasting when left clear at the last. He was forced to miss the Galway Plate – a race he surely would have been a major contender for – due to an eleventh-hour setback, but he gained some compensation when completing another simple task back at Killarney in August, winning with plenty in hand. There ought to be more to come from him and he looks the clear one to beat.

Fame And Joy – 16:43 Tipperary (each-way)

Belles Benefit and Fethard Glory both shaped with plenty of promise as they finished third and fourth respectively on their debut at Punchestown last month, and though that is strictly the best form on offer in this race, it could be worth siding with Fame And Joy, who is once raced and open to improvement.
Fame And Joy also made her debut at Punchestown last month, and though that race hasn’t worked out particularly well subsequently, Jessica Harrington’s charge did offer something to work on as she kept on for fourth. She has the Timeform small ‘p’ attached to her rating, denoting potential for further progression, and she makes plenty of appeal for a leading stable.
