Gina D’Cleaner and Vintage Polly need monitoring in the betting on their first run for new yards, while Rebel Redemption and Thriller’s Moon come here on the back of good runs.
The pair to appeal most are Jerbourg and VENTURA EXPRESS though, with the latter surely capable of winning races off this mark and the return to 6 furlongs very much in his favour.
15:10 Imrahor
Although a three-month absence is rather worrying, after finishing runner-up in races at top tracks it would be disappointing should IMRAHOR not make it third-time lucky.
Yukon has the next-best credentials, though Marreyr is an interesting newcomer for a stable that has done well here.
15:40 Kayewhykelly
There may well be more to come from KAYEWHYKELLY (NAP), who has shown major improvement since upped to 1m, and she’s taken to complete a hat-trick.
Handicap debutante Poet’s Lady is feared most.
16:10 Absolute Dream
This step up to 1m 1f may enable ABSOLUTE DREAM to finally double his career tally.
Royal Shaheen is second choice, ahead of Armed. It’s also hard to rule out recent winners Couldn’t Could She and Ayr Poet.
16:40 Sir Havelock
As in the first division, the verdict goes to a Richard Fahey-trained runner who should show the benefit of stepping up to 1m 1f. SIR HAVELOCK is the horse in question this time and he’s taken to beat handicap debutant Liberty Power.
There are several plausible candidates for third choice, with Elixsoft narrowly preferred.
17:10 Tattenhams
An uncompetitive affair can go to TATTENHAMS, whose backward step last time is best attributed to her first taste of Fibresand.
Millie The Minx can bounce back from her Musselburgh disappointment and provide the main threat, together with Pammi.
17:40 Viceregent
Off the mark on soft ground here last time and with potential for further improvement now sent over further, VICEREGENT is as appealing as any.
Genesius got this trip fine at Beverley and he’s second choice, ahead of Lady Scatterley.
