Extrodinair is building up a good record on the all-weather, and particularly at this track, recording his third win here over seven furlongs last month. That was his first run for five months, and he proved better than ever, typically travelling well on the front end and all out to hold on at the finish. That form has been boosted since with the runner-up winning their next start, and the speed he shows in his races suggests he will have no problem stepping back to six furlongs.
16:55 Chelmsford – Amjaady (each way)
Amjaady is on a lengthy losing run, but he has been shaping as though he is ready to strike from this sort of mark, hitting the frame on his last three starts. He travelled as well as any on that occasion, having to switch around two furlongs out and staying on well once finding his stride from an unpromising position. The step back up in trip will be in his favour and he should prove hard to keep out of the money again.
