13:50 Mr Millarcky
Cases can be made for a few of these, but MR MILLARCKY has struck form this month and is the one to beat.
Rae Guest’s gelding is effectively 3lb lower than when gaining a narrow success at Leicester a week ago, and the first of his two recent wins was gained on this track.
He’s Our Star wasn’t far behind the selection here on his latest outing and is feared most but Black Medick also ran well here recently, while Sirius Slew is back on his winning mark and is another of interest.
14:20 Fangorn
Silvestris is probably good enough to win a race of this nature at some stage, but FANGORN shaped with significant promise when sixth at Ascot on his recent debut and with today’s extra furlong almost certainly in his favour, he gets the nod.
Hellavapace finished ahead of Beryl Burton at Salisbury last month, but the latter was making her debut there and may improve past her old rival here.
14:55 Revolutionary Man
Stopnsearch was able to seize a good position on the nearside rail and make all over a slightly longer trip here a week ago and, from stall 13, might be able to repeat the trick under a 6lb penalty today.
However, slight preference is for REVOLUTIONARY MAN, who signed off for Mark Loughnane with a Polytrack win here last month and is probably still on a workable mark for today’s stable debut.
Hi Ho Silver is next on the list, ahead of recent C&D winner Jupiter.
15:25 Clog Maker
Mark Johnston’s CLOG MAKER (NAP) needs to prove he’s fully effective on turf, but he did well to finish third in what looked a warm 7 furlongs Polytrack handicap at Kempton two weeks ago having used up some petrol to lead from a wide stall.
That was his first run for six months and he remains lightly raced. Clareyblue has been pretty consistent in recent months and can fare best of the others.

15:55 Harrogate
Katherine Place is in the best form of her career and, after going very close over course and distance last month, is not opposed lightly.
However, her draw in stall 1 may not be ideal and this can go to HARROGATE, who was placed on slower-than-ideal ground at Windsor on his latest outing and now dips into Class 6 for the first time in his career. Tomshalfbrother and Thegreyvtrain are others to consider.
16:25 Azor Ahai
A’Shamardi could prove a bit better than this mark now upped in distance and he needs a close look in the betting.
Famous Dynasty, Hammy End and Esspeegee all need consideration, while Smiley Bagel is also worth a precautionary market check.
However, AZOR AHAI showed that middle distances held no terrors for him when winning on turf here last month and he can defy a small rise in the weights.
16:55 Vischio
An unappealing betting event in which VISCHIO is merely a tentative selection. Her second at Windsor last week was a fair effort and she’s fully effective on this surface.
Critique is a danger with headgear back on, while a return to form from Hackbridge wouldn’t be the biggest shock.
