14:00 Curragh – Romantic Proposal (Conor Murphy)

ROMANTIC PROPOSAL is dropping back from Listed company, where she acquitted herself admirably behind Make A Challenge and this filly should be capable of going in off a mark of 91.

She won the Paddy Power Scurry Handicap over this course and distance off 8lbs lower, but looked like she had a bit more in hand than the official winning margin of a short head.

She re-opposes against Gulliver, who she beat that day slightly worse off at the weights, but seems to have plenty more scope for improving than some of these. She should even be capable of going back up to Stakes company in due course.

16.10 ParisLongchamp – Way to Paris (Sean O’Sullivan)

Given WAY TO PARIS has spent the last three years in his division of flat racing, I can’t have it that Stradivarius is suddenly a Group 1 horse over 12 furlongs. While his run at that trip at Newmarket this year was just a prep, it was still rather underwhelming and he’s no cert to reverse the form with Anthony Van Dyck (who is no world beater himself) here.

I’ll take them both on with Way to Paris, who has been in fine nick this year with Group 2 and Group 1 wins along with two fine seconds. He could easily be overlooked in the market.

16:40 Curragh – Micro Manage (Allan Byrne)

MICRO MANAGE made his return last month over C&D and was a very respectable third that day.

Considering he was off the track for such a long time and the fact he has only had four career runs, there should be an expected improvement for that run and he should put up a big run here for Willie Mullins.
