Another handicap here this time over an extended 6 furlongs. GHALYOON has plenty of improvement to come in him and should run a big one for the Marcus Tregoning/Jim Crowley team.
This is the second run after a wind operation, and he drops down in trip which should suit.
Now we are in Group 2 company with the Flying Childers over 5 furlongs. I like the look of SACRED here who travelled like the best horse at York last time, but was narrowly touched off by the tough Miss Amulet.
Trained by William Haggas and ridden by Tom Marquand, Sacred is going the right way and might just be getting better than The Lir Jet who looked so good at Royal Ascot.
Another Group 2 here with the Doncaster Cup over 2m 2f. Probably the weakest renewal of this race I can remember, and no star stayer on show.
I’ll take a chance with THE GRAND VISIR for Ian Williams and Crowley. He shouldn’t have any chance to win a race like this, but he stays strong and that might be enough to get him close in the latter stages.
And finally at Doncaster, a Listed contest over 7 furlongs and the horse who could be really good here is LANEQASH, trained by Roger Varian and another for Crowley.
My hope absolutely bolted up at Ascot first time and was short in the betting there which suggests everyone in his yard knew he was good. The son of Cable Bay could be anything at this stage.
So best of luck and pray for Yeeehaaas. You hear me Paddy?

I’m lucky enough to be back at Doncaster Friday on ITV3, where another five races are beamed to you on terrestrial TV.
So, let’s get straight to it and find some winners.
Here’s what I fancy at the festival:
13:40 Sleeping Lion
The coverage kicks off with the Mallard Handicap over an extended 1m 6f and it’s a tricky heat.
SLEEPING LION struggles to win, but has been running really well and stays strong for James Fanshawe.
Jamie Spencer takes the ride and he might well be the key to a horse who was a fine third at Ascot last time.
14:10 Ghalyoon
Another handicap here this time over an extended 6 furlongs. GHALYOON has plenty of improvement to come in him and should run a big one for the Marcus Tregoning/Jim Crowley team.
This is the second run after a wind operation, and he drops down in trip which should suit.
14:40 Sacred

15:15 The Grand Visir
Another Group 2 here with the Doncaster Cup over 2m 2f. Probably the weakest renewal of this race I can remember, and no star stayer on show.
