Horse Racing Tips: 8 who could be great at Galway on Monday night

The Racing Post has best bets for every single race at Galway tonight

4.05pm – January Jets (NAP)

Though he lacks a recent run, JANUARY JETS (nap) has been competitive in much stronger maidens than this and can get off the mark in a race which lacks much depth. The Little Yank is the obvious one to keep him up to his task, while classy Flat horse Karawaan is interesting.

4.40pm – Bridge Native

Several recent winners plus others with decent placed form, so a competitive race. Mig Des Taillons was impressive when winning last time but is 15lb higher, while Banjo had the form of his Tramore win franked since.

However, BRIDGE NATIVE ran a cracker against a major improver over hurdles at Tramore two starts ago before winning again over fences since, and gets the nod. Lauderdale Lady and Wait Here can run well.

5.10pm – The Storyteller

Even though he only has 5lb in hand of My Sister Sarah at the weights, THE STORYTELLER is a very accomplished performer who showed his well-being with an easy chase win here last time, and can make his class tell. The mare can certainly give him a race though.

5.40pm – Yeat’s Encore

A very tricky heat but perhaps YEAT’S ENCORE can get off the mark now up in trip after several solid efforts over shorter lately.

Ilikehim is frustrating but bumped into one at Down Royal lately and is one to consider, along with Warreedy, who won at Ballinrobe and Deauville Society.

6.10pm – Tiger Voice

The market should tell a lot with three interesting JP McManus-owned runners involved, of which, the 142-rated hurdler Aramax can presumably take high rank over fences given he gets a handy weight for age allowance off all of his rivals.

However, TIGER VOICE was not a bad horse over hurdles either and he may make a better chaser.

6.40pm – Flirting Lesa

Former Bishopscourt Cup winner FLIRTING LESA does not have a lot of miles on the clock and should be capable of going well off her mark under a top rider.

Benefit Run is likely to be on the scene while it’s likely the best has yet to come from Weihnachts.

7.10pm – Crazywork De Vassy

CRAZYWORK DE VASSY gained compensation for his Kilbeggan spill when bolting up at Killarney and, even off 10lb higher, he’s hard to oppose. In Your Shadow is relatively unexposed while Wake Up Early won this last year and is respected again.

7.40pm – Dads Lad

DADS LAD can make an immediate impact for the champion trainer. He showed plenty of ability for his previous stable and, having been entered up a couple of times lately, should be well primed.

Breakeven won nicely at Tipperary and should relish the hill while Elusive Gigolo is clearly held in decent regard.
