ISOTOPEhas done well on the level this term and should be well capable of opening his account over hurdles at the third attempt. Dare To Flare is a another Flat recruit to jumping with decent claims while Hammersmith should be involved if coming forward from his reappearance run.
Hard to rule much in or out given how poor a race this is. Seeing he’s off to the sales, it’s probably safe to assume that all of the ducks will be in a row for WISHFUL THINKING, who is at least unexposed to some degree. Dinny’s Ginny and Willyouwalkwithme are capable at this level.
AUNTY AUDREY did little wrong when narrowly failing at Tramore and, a previous winner of this mark, she could gain compensation at the main expense of Muhaafiz, Kilmurry and Samba Dancer.
The obvious place to start is Rebel Waltz after his fine run here last week but local runners Silk Worm and PECULIAR GENIUSare feared, with the latter looking quite well-treated back over hurdles.
HAND IN MY POCKET won’t get many better chances to win a maiden hurdle and should oblige with the minimum of fuss. She was a beaten odds-on favourite at Bellewstown, but still managed to post an RPR of 111 in finishing third and that should suffice here. The longer trip should be fine. Coosan Clover and Little Lady Lu can fight it out for second spot.
The reserves Railway Muice and The Broom Squire would be respected if getting in, while Miracle In Medinah is always to be feared in a heat as weak as this. The most solid option, though, is recent C&D winner BLAZE A TRAILwho seemed to score with a bit up his sleeve last Saturday and a 7lb rise in the weights might not be enough to prevent him from repeating the feat given he is only six.
CANTKIDAKIDDER (nap) has form figures of 19222 on his last five visits to Wexford and course form counts for plenty around here. The 3m1f trip is a worry, but he might get away with it and is fancied to register a third success. Mary Fields and Cluan Dara, who finished in front of the selection at Tramore, appear his two biggest dangers.
