Frank Hickey and Paddy Power pick their best bets for this weekend on the latest edition of From The Horse's Mouth

Expert tipster Frank Hickey and our very own Paddy Power have analysed this weekend’s meetings and picked their best bets ahead of the upcoming action.

Speaking on our Friday tipping episode of our From The Horse’s Mouth podcast he pair ran the rule over race cards at Ascot, Kempton, Haydock, York and Longchamp to eventually identify a single best bet each.

Frank’s NAP

3.10pm Kempton – Dingle

My NAP is DINGLE for Richard Hannon. He’s a well-regarded horse and there was a strong word from the trainer before it ran at Newmarket, but it was sixth there and beaten in the run-in by over four lengths.

Then third in the Convivial Maiden Stakes at York over seven furlongs the last day, and shaped well enough again. That’s traditionally a very strong Maiden because it isso valuable.

Starts here in handicaps off the market at 82 but I’d be surprised if he doesn’t improve a fair bit before the season’s out and be better than that mark. Just setting off at 82 but I would be surprised if he doesn’t end up being a 100 horse by the start of next year.

Paddy’s NAP

1.45pm Haydock – Khaloosy

I’m hoping that it’s very soft because this is key. I really like KHALOOSY. This is the horse that won the Britannia by four lengths at Ascot and then got beaten at Goodwood and that was on good to firm.

I think he was 4/7 odds on when he got beat so that was obviously disappointing. I’m hoping that soft ground was the key because it was soft at Ascot and I quite fancy him.
