Paddy was joined by the legend Ruby Walsh again on this week’s From The Horses’ Mouth podcast to take a good look at this weekend’s racing.
The lads looked back on a great week at the Ebor Festival and previewed the best of this weekend’s action, including two races at Sandown.
You can hear the podcast in full below or wherever you get your pods from.
But what do Ruby and Paddy like the look of at Sandown on Sunday?
15:05 Billesdon Brook
Ruby: I think Billesdon Brook is ultra-consistent, stepping up to 10f is a little bit of an unknown for her. She’s ultra consistent, she’s the highest rated, that’ll do me.
15:40 Apollo One
Ruby: I’m going to go for Apollo One. 22/1 on debut for Peter Charalambous looked reluctant to load, missed the break then ran away and still managed to bolt in by four lengths. Looked very green, very awkward but I’ll be going with Apollo One.
15:40 Etonian
Paddy: I like the look of Etonian. A 28/1 Richard Hannon winner first-time up, so clearly not fancied at all. Probably only half-fit and pitched up so got to improve for that.
