Horse Racing tips: The best bets for the ENTIRE card at Ballinrobe on Monday

16:40 Calidus Mirabilis @ 11/8

Not a race of terrific strength in depth. Sister Eliza is an interesting recruit to hurdles after a very eye-catching run in a handicap at Galway two weeks ago.

However, a reasonable standard is set by dual Flat winner CALIDUS MIRABILIS, who should improve a fair bit from his hurdles debut fourth to Longclaw at Roscommon when several of these were behind him.

17:10 Malone Road

All eyes at Ballinrobe today will be on the unbeaten MALONE ROAD, not seen since easily beating Mt Leinster in a Punchestown bumper in November 2018 and he shouldn’t have to get out of second gear to beat these.

Stable companion Uncle Henry looks second best ahead of Kendancer.

17:45 Yeat’s Encore

Not too many of these count. Acclamatio ran well enough recently in a Bellewstown maiden hurdle and a Leopardstown Flat handicap to command plenty of respect, while unexposed pair Take A Punt and Heliers Bay, as well as recent course fourth Derby De Thaix are all respected.

However, if YEAT’S ENCORE (NAP) can reproduce the form shown here or at Kilbeggan last time, she will be hard to beat.

18:15 Blackyellowred @ 5/2

Another unappealing race. At the top of the handicap, both Romella and Old Town Road have the form in the book to have definite chances.

Preference is for BLACKYELLOWRED, whose recent second at Killarney would give him a big chance in a race like this, even if he has gone up another 2lb.

18:45 Silk Worm

SILK WORM is a reliable mare and seems to have found a nice opening, for all that a rating of 99 is hardly anything too hot. Others to consider in a tricky one for the layers are Cabin Hill and Rippon Lodge.

19:15 Winsor Vixren

Few count and this looks a good opportunity for Balinaboola Steel, who did it well at Wexford, though he was in action yesterday.

My Lovely Boy and WINSOR VIXREN are noted after good runs at Cork.

19:45 Famous Escape

FAMOUS ESCAPE has a lot more to do in this company after her maiden win, but she sauntered to success then and makes ample appeal.

This is quite a deep race, with Pass The Ball stepping up in trip, Tiger Twenty Two doing the same and Brogine rock-solid on recent achievements.

20:15 Mahlers Dollar

MAHLERS DOLLAR looks a great bet here, with doubts prevailing about the remainder, best of whom might be Roscommon runner-up Fix The Bill.
