Mick Fitzgerald joined the lads on this week’s edition of From The Horse’s Mouth to take a look at the action that’s coming up in the UK and Ireland this weekend. ITV Racing’s man on the ground Mick Fitz discussed the biggest race at Newmarket on Saturday with Paddy Power and – amazingly – they both like the look of the same horse.
This week’s pod, which is out now, featured tipster extraordinaire Frank Hickey as always, as well as Sky Sports Racing’s French expert Laurent Barbarin as he joined the Zoom call to discuss the upcoming Prix Maurice de Gheest. You can listen to the full pod below, and here’s Mick and Paddy’s tip for the 15:25 at Newmarket on Saturday.
From The Horse’s Mouth’s tips for the 15:20 at Newmarket
Mick Fitzgerald: Danilova
I just think that Danilova certainly looked like one that was on the improve. She won nicely at Newmarket having been placed behind Wedding Dance the time before. He’s got a lot of good horses at his disposal, Charlie Appelby, and it’s quite interesting that he’s targeted this one at this race. I think that’s significant for me.
Paddy Power: Danilova
I think Fly Miss Helen might just a little bit short. I agree with Mick wholeheartedly about Danilova. Spirit Of Bermuda I was half thinking about backing, she was very brave at Goodwood but I think Danilova, over course and distance with the ground conditions the same as the last day, I think she’s the one for me.
