Top Billing isn’t one to trust completely but is now 7 lb below his last winning mark so must enter calculations. Court Baloo was thriving when last seen and is another to consider.
14:00 Tango Echo Charlie
TANGO ECHO CHARLIE ran to a fair level when runner-up on yard/hurdling debut at Stratford earlier this month and, with improvement a distinct possibility for his leading yard, he earns the vote to go one place better.
Taking Flight can have his run at Hexham overlooked back in December and is feared on the back of wind surgery, whilst Liffeydale Dreamer can also get involved.
14:35 Paricolor
PARICOLOR goes chasing on his first run for 5 months in receipt of a hefty weight allowance. He should stay this far and could well leave his hurdles form behind at the first time of asking in this sphere.
Demon d’Aunou and Fresh New Dawn are a couple of other interesting runners going over fences for the first time.
15:10 Fort De L’Ocean
Oliver Greenall’s FORT DE L’OCEAN has shaped well in a couple of starts this month, hitting the frame at Market Rasen 10 days ago. He’s taken to land this feature contest with his mark easing a further 3lb.
Licklighter is feared most after making the perfect start for his new yard at Bangor a fortnight ago, while Lucky Robin shouldn’t be too far away either.
15:45 Federici
FEDERICI usually keeps much better company than this over fences and can take advantage of this drop in class.
Captain Mowbray and Cash Again are both potentially well treated returning from long lay-offs so need keeping an eye on.
16:20 Pardon Me
PARDON ME enjoys a 3lb swing in the weights with Emma Lamb from Uttoxeter and that could be enough to see her get the better of the argument with Dr Richard Newland’s mare this time.
Millie The Minx arrives fit from some decent efforts on the Flat and is also capable of having a say.
16:55 Native Fighter
NATIVE FIGHTER is a progressive sort who has the benefit of a recent spin on the Flat, so he’s taken to make a successful return to this discipline for his local trainer.
Chocolat Noir boasts an excellent track record and arrives in form so he’s also considered along with Too Much To Ask.
