Lydia Hislop joined Paddy, Tom, Frank and Ruby on this week’s From The Horse’s Mouth Podcast to discuss the weekend’s action which will showcase some of the best talent on the planet with The Epsom Derby, The Oaks and French Derby all running.

In a wide-ranging chat, which you can hear in full below, Lydia from Racing TV and legendary jockey Ruby Walsh also dished out their best bets on Sunday of a packed weekend.

Lydia Hislop – Haydock 14:05 – Subjectivist

I like Subjectivist at Haydock on Sunday. He’s running in the three-year-old 1m6f handicap. I think he was a bit unfortunate with the way the race panned out in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot.

I think he’ll like the step-up in trip. I think he’ll handle the conditions and he’s still on a workable mark.

Ruby Walsh – Chantilly 14:55 – Fancy Blue e/w

I think if Victor Ludorum gets anyway lucky from stall one he’ll win the Prix du Jockey Club. He’s the best horse but it is a bad draw.

Fancy Blue in the race after the French Derby at Chantilly with Pierre-Charles Boudot riding is a great bet each way in the Prix de Diane Longines.

Ruby Walsh – Chantilly 14:55 – Fancy Blue e/w
