12:30 Haydock – Never In Paris (Next Best)

A winner on debut last summer, NEVER IN PARIS failed to progress as hoped in her next two starts.

She caught the eye on her return to action at this venue last month however, shaping encouragingly after five months off on what was her handicap debut – making headway over a furlong out but unable to make a further impression after her saddle slipped.

Her opening mark looked a pretty good one and she travelled as though that was the case, so down a further 1lb here, she is clearly one to keep onside.

13:30 Haydock – Theatro (Each-Way)

THEATRO won twice over a mile and a half at Ripon last year, and remained in good form in her two subsequent outings.

She took the step up to 14 furlong in her stride on both occasions, just lacking the speed to shake off her rivals having hit the front over this course and distance, before finding only a handicap blot too good at Nottingham on her final appearance of the season.

She returned to action with an encouraging third at Pontefract last month, the 12 furlong trip a bare minimum for her. But with that run under her belt, and back up to a more suitable distance here, she is certainly one to be interested in.
