Hopes for the former would seemingly be dented in a big way if the ground were softer than good but otherwise he has less to prove over the trip than Antagonize, despite Antagonize showing plenty of speed close to the pace for a long way last time over 6f at Redcar.

Night Moment has already shown enough to suggest he can win a race of this nature and might gain a tactical advantage if he attempts to dominate from the front but INFANT HERCULES made a promising debut at Thirsk and is taken in the hope that he can improve past Mark Johnston’s colt.

Mark Johnston’s GOLD ZABEEL is given another chance to fulfil the promise of his debut effort at Lingfield, where he entered many a notebook. Innings could be the danger, with Egrecio having to concede weight to them both.
