Bob Baffert’s VIA ANGELICA should like the step up in trip here after she came on strong in the closing stages, when third on debut last money. She should be able to get ahead of Crystal Ball and Last First Kiss.

SOLO ANIMO went into notebooks aplenty when flashing home for a close third once the penny dropped on debut and he should know much more about the game now. He is narrowly preferred to the more experienced Absolute Unit, with Twirling The Gold completing the shortlist.

MCKALE followed up a C&D victory with a good third in a 200k stakes contest and looks one to keep onside now back down in class. However, Law Abidin Citizen was only touched off right on the line over a route in his latest showing and is a big threat now back over a distance he has a good record at. Justinian is another to consider.

Destiny’s Journey has leading claims on her second here but has it to prove on turf and preference is for SABINOS PRIDE. She ran well for a long way on this surface when returning from a break last month and should strip fitter today. Invincibella must be respected.

This looks a little easier than the 5 1/2f event ROSSMAN filled the runner-up berth in his latest outing and he shaped as though he will appreciate this extra furlong. Street Image and Show Business are obvious dangers.

DOGTAG had a few of these in arrears when winning well from Desert Oasis over 1m here last month and is taken to follow up with this extra yardage not expected to be an issue. Pretty Point can stay on into contention and is respected.
