ANITA MARIE has finished second in two of her last four starts and, if everything falls together, she might be able to go one better this time. Tiger Lisa and Fancy Pants will be waiting to take advantage should the selection prove weak at the finish.

18.20 Lil H

LIL H put in a career-best effort when third at Oaklawn Park during the spring and could take some stopping now that the penny has seemingly dropped. Aunt Peg and Cosi Momosi are expected to put up the most resistance.

18.50 Squeegee

SQUEEGEE has shaped like a winner in waiting the last twice with placed efforts and, back at the scene of his last victory, could end his long wait for another gold medal. Garden Quality might find this easier than recent tests, while Water Moccasin should give the form of the race a solid outlook.

19.20 Las Ana

LAS ANA showed some promise at a higher level a few starts ago so he makes some appeal down in grade. Dantu is a reliable yardstick who should be thereabouts once again, while a drop in trip could see Thunder Kid back to form.

19.50 Hasty Lady

HASTY LADY‘s form tailed off at the back end of 2019 but she is expected to bounce back on her first outing since November. Arrowsphere and Dream Fever head the list of dangers.

20.20 Leombruno

LEOMBRUNO is the form pick based on a runaway victory at Mountaineer two starts ago, when scoring by 10 lengths, and his recent homework suggests he is fit enough to do himself justice. Spectacular Road and Daringly Bold appeal most of the remainder.

20.50 Johnny U

Jack Be Fast arrives on a hat-trick but has recently been winning over 1m at Mountaineer, so preference is instead for JOHNNY U, a last-start 6f scorer at Tampa. Liberate looks best of the rest.

21.20 Ryoan

RYOAN has been knocking hard on the door and wouldn’t be winning out of turn. Myositis Mystique is another reliable type and is feared most, while Backsplash is unlikely to be far away at the finish either.
