BLACK STORM seemed a bit one-paced when fourth over 6 furlongs on his return to this venue, so the extra furlong could help him regain the winning thread. Burn Me Twice should be back in the winner’s enclosure before too long, and Imagineiamfastest is also respected.

Appreciated ran on well in a more valuable contest last time and is interesting at this trip, while Rinse And Repeat has won three of his last four so must be considered. MR PAYTIENCE is preferred, however, as he got within half a length of success last time and the extra yardage here looks ideal.

Colombian Gold got within half a length of success last time and can go well, but this looks an ideal opportunity for the improving TAGLINE.

Jeff Mullins’ filly has been progressing nicely in her three starts to date and could make it fourth time lucky. Lemon Drop Tini and Surface are others to note.

SASH got within a length of success here last time, with Swamp Souffle and Unbroken Star behind, and can land the spoils here. Dark Prince struggled on his return last time, but may fare better with that under his belt.

PREDICTABLE TULLY hasn’t been disgraced in better races than this so far this year and could claim an overdue success for trainer Jeff Mullins. Cassie Belle has a similar profile and could take second, with Viazar potentially one for the notebook on debut.

Having been in the places on every one of her six starts to date, LOVELY FINISH has everything in her favour to finally break her duck her. A poor start cost Approved For Flyby last time, but she did run well after. Watch out for Apache Pass too.
