Big news folks. Paddy Power and The Curragh are renewing their unbelievably brilliant partnership. And, as part of that strengthened association, we will sponsor a series of the most historic and competitive premier handicaps throughout the season kicking off with the Paddy Power Irish Lincolnshire on Friday 12th June as part of Tattersalls Irish Guineas Weekend (Joseph O’Brien’s Patrick Sarsfield is the 6-1 ante-post fav for that just as an FYI!).

We’ll also add our name to the Rockingham Handicap on 28th June, The Scurry on 18th July, Irish Cambridgeshire on 28th August and the Irish Cesarewitch on 11th October, while we have also agreed to continue to sponsor the Group 2 Minstrel Stakes taking place on Irish Oaks Day.
In addition to upgrading our race sponsorship profile, we have also renewed our management of the on-course betting shop which will be in operation once it is permitted to open again.
We are delighted to continue our long-standing relationship with Pat Keogh and everyone associated with the Curragh, along with the renewal of our on-course betting shop.
I’ve always loved the place and, as part of our passion for racing, it was an absolute no-brainer. I know, this sounds a bit corporate-y – and, let’s face it, it kinda is.
We always want to invest at the heart of the action and show we are committed to Irish racing. So a big thank you to all at The Curragh, and here’s to many more years of partnership.
… I’m popping some champagne at home to celebrate.
