Horse Racing tips: The best bets at Dieppe on Monday

A fab five in France today from the Racing Post

Horse Racing Longchamp

10am – Heniway @ 14/1

HENIWAY secures the perfect opening to break her maiden tag after posting some respectable efforts finishing downfield first two outings. Wasn’t beaten far last time and holds best-known form going into this. Of those having a first outing Junta Post hails from a black-type family and Gunflight is another with winners in the pedigree. Redness hasn’t impressed so far however may put previous experience to good use in a contest like this.

10.30am – Game De Mirande

Interesting race. Girl Of The World won debut on the flat and finished a solid second the next time. In good hands and very capable if switching successfully to hurdles. GAME DE MIRANDE is a strong challenger who remains unbeaten on both starts. Hailing from another good yard. Other contenders include debut placed duo Coming Along and Babeth Jag who will set the hurdling standard in this contest coming off the back of these respectable efforts.

11am – Ballet Russe @ 6/1

BALLET RUSSE is a fascinating contender on jumping debut having been highly tried by Andre Fabre on the flat last year. This represents a winnable contest if capable over hurdles. Last time out winners Seppeltsfield and Bright Vision arrive in form and have good claims if the top hope cannot translate flat form across. Of the place hopes consider Gage De Reussite despite not going on from initial attempt.

11.30am – St Romain Du Derby

ST ROMAIN DU DERBY may appear as a slight risk given his lengthy lay-off however at best he is arguably the best horse in the race. Of note as well is the fact that trainer Macaire has stuck with him. Bernardo Bellotto is another Auteuil winner who showed fair form upon return and rates the challenger. Falbala Des Mottes looks the most consistent and reliable performer and rates a strong each-way chance. New Bresil is another with question marks.

12pm – Diwell Stang Blun @ 7/2

The theme of the race is talented performers returning after a break. Market may guide best as to who is ready to go. DIWELL STANG BLUN has had runs this year and this consistent performer is the safe option in the selection process. Those risky but perhaps classier rivals are Divine Fleur, Flairon and Sol Blade. Divine Fleur’s Auteuil runs read well whilst Flairon clearly has a will to win. Sol Blade faces the challenge of overcoming a long absence.
