Langue Liee has been in grand form of late and will be in the thick of the action once more, but a chance is taken on the fitness of Way To Success because she kept better company last year and is open to plenty more improvement. Give Sharperthanme some thought too.
6.20pm Shikaka
Verdict: Bramble Berry stormed to victory over 6f on the main track, but the turf mile is a completely different proposition. Baci also got on the scoresheet when last seen, but Shikaka will appreciate this test after some stiff Gulfstream assignments and can take full advantage.
6.50pm Katie Faloona @ 5/1
Explosive Package was a fair way in front of Daresca when they took minor honours over 7f here. She has since struggled over track and trip so the nod goes to Katie Faloona, who has picked up her share of place money this year.
7.20pm Cark @ 11/10
Analyzeyourvision has been running well in defeat but may have to settle for another supporting role behind a couple of rivals having their first starts of the year. Cark showed ability last year, particularly when last seen at Laurel, and is just preferred to Capture The Ride.
7.50pm C’Era Una Volta 8/1
The consistent Word Of Truth is worth monitoring closely now returning from a break but with the benefit of a recent run under his belt, 6f second C’era Una Volta gets the verdict. He’s a distance winner and could relish the step back up in trip. Junction and Greeley’s Farewell look best of the rest.
8.20pm Estilo Peligroso @ 2/1
Estilo Peligroso has been knocking hard on the door and wouldn’t be winning out of turn if successful this evening. Masterio drops in grade and is considered the principal threat, though a big run from Plan Of Attack would also come as no surprise.
8.50pm Takin It Easy @ 2/1
Takin It Easy kept on strongly over-extended 5f here earlier in the month and could build on that effort now granted this extra yardage. U Know I B Lion makes strong appeal on her C&D second in March, while the consistent Fran’s Salsa is unlikely to be far away at the line either.
9.15pm Juror @ 3/1
Astroturf helps set the form standard and is unlikely to be far away at the line, while Spice Road will appreciate the step back up from 7f and could also figure. However, after impressing in several workouts, it might be worth siding with Chad Brown’s Juror getting the job done first time out.
