13:35 Clairefontaine – Lord Spirit @ 15/2
LORD SPIRIT was a Compiegne conditions winner in September and outclassed past two. Easier here. Good chance to improve. Giaco Bere raced well at Cagnes during winter winning two. Last start third Fontainebleau in February and can be considered. Aberwind looks interesting. Not seen since Dieppe second twelve months ago. May go well first up at this level. Rikita De L’Orme is finding a place or finishing close. Could collect minor prize-money again.

On form the top two are the ones to beat. KATY LOVE comes into hcp racing with three wins from five race starts. Is progressive. Via Maresca has won two of past five and was a big winner at Compiegne 11 May. Having her first hcp start and looks a big chance. Of the others engaged a number could be looking for filling a place especially those in the weights including Belle Capitaine, Lee D’Anjou and Famille Formidable.
14:50 Clairefontaine – Ayeth @ 9/2
AYETH has two hurdle starts. Beaten 2L Compiegne 11 May and may go close here. Top choice. Gulip was a solid third at Auteuil in March and can win. Capodimonte made a promising initial attempt at Compiegne out-running his odds. Expect progression. Beau Val is interesting following his Bordeaux debut in February. Could contend.
