Horse racing tips: The Racing Post’s best bets for EVERY Gulfstream race on Monday

Hopefully, The Racing Post’s tipster can your week off to a cracking start.

Gulfstream Horse Racing US

17:45 Big Boss Lady

Ocala is interesting as she drops markedly in class here, but BIG BOSS LADY hinted that her turn was near when second here last time and could go one better. Maricopa is another to note, though the jury is out as to whether this trip suits.

18:15 Ma Meatloaf @ 8/11

The fact Todd Pletcher has snapped her up is an encouraging enough sign for MA MEATLOAF and her recent form in slightly better races means she looks very much the one to beat. Blue Blue Ice has claims on her recent second, which saw Sizzling Roma one place further back.

18:45 Spinning Kitten

Mr Tito came on leaps and bounds for his debut run to score last time and could build on that, while Bebeau was disappointing last time but could fare better here. Preacher Marsee is better than he showed on the main track last time, but he was behind SPINNING KITTEN when they met over track and trip last month and Kathryn Davey’s gelding is taken to confirm his superiority.

19:15 Prairie Wings @ 4/6

Sneer struggled on a sloppy track last time but may be better judged by his close second over track and trip in March, while Assume has been on the premises in both starts to date. PRAIRIE WINGS gets the vote though, as she has found only one too good on both starts to date and can open her account here.

19:46 The Green Mo’ster

THE GREEN MO’STER ran better than his finishing position suggests in a higher quality race than this behind Temple last time, and that form reads well in the context of this heat. Vegas Kitten is another to consider on the pick of his form, while Joyful Heart is also respected.

20:16 Chill Haze @ 9/4

CHILL HAZE will be winning a maiden claimer of this nature sooner rather than later, and gets the nod ahead of Fast Magic and Cpt Rhett Butler. Sandys Blaze is intriguing having finished a good second on debut, but the subsequent 254-day absence would suggest he has had his problems.

20:49 Ms Meshak @ 6/5

MS MESHAK is well respected here dropping from allowance optional claiming company, and she may have too much class for the likes of Fightress and Still Alive.

21:21 Donji

My Point Exactly and Derby Champagne certainly holds claims and any market moves would interesting. However, DONJI’s form has gone to new highs of late and has hat-trick claims having bested Bourbon In May (third) to score last time out.

21:52 Jungle Warrior @ 7/1

Vincent William and Jettin Out are leading players as they drop in class for their seasonal debut but preference is for JUNGLE WARRIOR, who should strip fitter for his reappearance here and has sounds claims on his form at Woodbine last year.

22:24 Valdolobo

The progressive Valdolobo wasn’t far off a hat-trick in a tougher C&D event last month and, with possibly more to come, he could make the most of this drop in class. Machiavelli and P H Factor can give him plenty to think about.

22:56 Elusive Molly @ 6/5

Spartanka and Fiftyshays Ofgreen are serious players as they drop in class, but ELUSIVE MOLLY has won her last two starts here with such ease that she is taken to handle this latest rise in class to complete the hat-trick.

23:25 Cape Trios @ x/1

CAPE TRIOS ran well enough when fourth in a much more valuable C&D event latest to suggest she can make the most of this notable drop in class and she gets the nod ahead of Trixie’s Time and True Heiress.
