BENCH JUDGE didn’t taste competitive action until March, but he immediately began to make up for lost time with a C&D success and he can build on it. Tizhotndusty is another once-raced winner to consider, and he had the measure of subsequent scorer Shinny. Jetovator had A Man’s Man behind him when breaking through, but was just adrift of Preaching Trainer subsequently.
MADAME BARBARIAN found an allowance race over an extended mile beyond her at Oaklawn, but this is a more suitable test for her. Ruby Bradley and Mongolian Window have the requisite ability, but need a bit further to be seen to best effect.
RESARCIO was only a neck behind Dipping In (second) as they went very close in a similar C&D event in February and is open to further progress after only two starts, so she is taken to turn the tables en route to scoring here. Convincingly and Zest are big threats on the form book as they return from layoffs.
There are several progressive types in here so finding the winner will be tough. UNDENIABLE PROOF left a lasting impression when scoring by five lengths in a Los Alamitos maiden and he gets the nod, though the likes of Cryin’ Chuck, Fellow Citizen and Sky Jumper are all big players for top yard.
FIVESTAR LYNCH won well here in February and can go from strength to strength now. The booking of Flavien Prat suggests connections are confident, and he can go back-to-back at the expense of Red King and Turn The Switch.
