GREAT TONIO stands out after some good performances over this distance. Twice awinner at this track and capable of a big performance. Pedrozzo is nearing a victory after two placings from past three outings. Not beaten far and bold bid anticipated fresh. Rudevent claimed a first career victory in December at Pornichet. Needs to prove ability over shorter distance. Eclair Des Sources could sneak a placing.
4.25pm – Bess @ 11/2
BESS is chasing a double after an impressive victory at Maure de Bretagne in March. Deserves to take a step up in class having delivered eye-catching performance. Leading chance. Edward was a little disappointing on seasonal reappearance. Previous form reads well and likely to improve for the run. Joly Risk was a winner two starts back before falling at Auteuil. Capable if jumping cleanly. Daragouin holds each-way claims on return after a lengthy absence.
4.55pm – L’As De Gree @ 4/1
L’AS DE GREE has been running well and was last seen finishing fourth in a large field at Deauville. A bold bid is anticipated. Never Say Never returns after a five-month break. Finished off previous campaign with a fourth at Pau over 2400m. Rates highly. Creek Of Zambia has not won for 20 months. Recent form is solid and can feature in the closing stages. Jardin Fleuri holds each-way claims.
5.25pm – Cyclone D’Allen @ 15/4
CYCLONE D’ALLEN has been running against some good competition at Pau and was last seen placing over 4100m. Capable of breakthrough success. Utah De La Coquais was a winner over further at Saumur in March. Drop in distance unlikely to pose any issues. Chasing a double. King De Teillee returns after a lengthy break. Potential to finish in the frame if race fit. Camelion has to be considered after win at Saumur in October.
6pm – Si Un Jour @ 7/2
SI UN JOUR continues to improve with each outing. Fifth on debut at Deauville before placing second at the same track in December. Open to further progression. Queen Kahlua is edging closer to a success with four placings from four career starts. Matter of time before breaking through for maiden victory. Queen Bassett caught the eye when second at Pornichet in August. Interesting if race fit after eight-month break. Woot’s Run holds each-way claims.

TWIRLING is looking for a fourth consecutive victory. Scored by eight lengths at Le Pin Du Haras on final start of previous season and will be difficult to beat. Amazing Comedy was last seen placing second in a cross-country chase at Cheltenham and returns after a five-month break. Plenty of ability and warrants respect. Bucefal has been racing well and finished fourth in Listed company at Craon over 6000m in September. Interesting. Butterfly Du Mouholds each-way claims.
7.05pm – Geny Des Airs @ 13/8
GENY DES AIRS is hard to oppose. Impressed with a 30-length victory at Saint Brieuc in March and is yet to finish out of the placings in five career starts. Leading chance. Gamaline has been racing in G3 company and will enjoy the return to an easier level. Debut winner with plenty of ability. Galop Du Large is edging closer to a success after three consecutive placings. Respect. Guyano Bello is a place chance.
7.35pm – Suave Story @ 7/1
SUAVE STORY is chasing a double after a three-and-a-half length success at Compiegne. Continues to make headway with each racecourse start and rates highly. Hurricane Dream caught the eye when winning on debut at Angers. Open to further improvement after a break. Carnival Zain showed good form last campaign despite struggling in Listed company on final start of previous campaign. Bold bid expected on return. Pink Princess holds each-way claims.
8.05pm – Fortissimo @ 4/1
FORTISSIMO is ready to break through for a maiden victory after two placings from two career starts. Leading chance. Flasky is chasing a double after a success at Saumur over 3200m. Potential for progression with confidence boosted. Fast D’Aumont rates highly on best form although recent performances haven’t been up to par. Better expected. Fougeraie returns after a seven-month break. Did little wrong in three starts last campaign.
