Horse Racing tips: Our Le Teste De Buch four best bets on Wednesday

PPTV's James Shortt reveals his pick of the bunch over in France

Horse Racing Longchamp

10.25am – MOISSON DU CIEL @ 4/1

The picturesque track of Le Teste De Buch takes centre stage in France on Wednesday and we start with a middle-distance maiden for unraced three-year-olds. Jean Claude Rouget and Christophe Ferland are the most in-form trainers with runners, while Henri-Alex Pantall trains the Godolphin owned Adept.

Rouget trains the Coolmore owned Landmark on debut under Mickael Forest, but his other runner Moisson Du Ciel is our selection. Jean-Bernard Eyquem rides the Toronado filly on debut and has an excellent strike-ride at this venue riding three-year-olds (36%) which stands out nicely. Stamina, a daughter of Oasis Dream is another to keep a close eye on for Ferland and Maxime Guyon on debut.

11.25am – BROUILLARD @ 10/3

Most of the field for the colts and geldings maiden over seven-furlongs have previous racecourse experience with several interesting newcomers. Ippling finished a good second on debut and should be open to improvement along with Alpengeist and Arrow Chop. Exclusive Baio represents Jean-Claude Rouget on debut following his 75 thousand euro purchase at the Arqana sales in August 2018. Another newcomer Brouillard gets the verdict for inform jockey Maxime Guyon and trainer Christophe Ferland. The Wertheimer runner is by Dark Angel and Ferland trained the dam, Evaporation who landed black-type for these connections ten-years ago.

11.55am – FREECHOPE @ 4/1

Sheikh Hamdan, the Aga Khan and Godolphin are all represented in this seven-furlong fillies maiden but Freechope for trainer Jane Soubagne gets the vote. The Kheleyf filly was only beaten a short-head on debut behind Healer and is very interesting that Maxime Guyon is booked for the in-form stable. Khara, Thread Of Silver, Red Berries and La Grenade are others who all have chances in what looks a very open contest.

13:07 – SERKIYNA @ 11/4

The Prix Nelcius is the three-year-old conditions race with Oftenwork, Tamahere, Look Of Victory and Rosmana the principal contenders. Oftenwork has been knocking on the door of late but Serkiyna is our selection for Jean Claude Rouget and the Aga Khan. The Charm Spirit filly was running reasonably well before breaking her maiden at Cagnes back in February. The second, Tour D’Echelle has boosted the form since with victory and Serkiyna with Jean-Bernard Eyquem in the saddle for the first time will hopefully improve again to land this event.
