10pm – Gogetmbugs @ 2/1

Mr. Big Shot fared better than Yayasgotmoregame and Leon’s Diamond when runner-up in a minor stake here, but then went on to finish behind GOGETMBUGS and Creeds Revenge. That was a big improvement from Gogetmbugs to claim the runner-up spot and he can go one better.

10.27pm – Giant Gamble @ 4/6

GIANT GAMBLE‘s hat-trick mission may have come up just short but he lost absolutely nothing in defeat and has the measure of Diesel’s Prize, Born Force and Frankalee Fun on that evidence. Xavier Davey had I’m A Rock back in third when successful over 4f, but this demands more of him.

10.54pm – Coil and Strike @ 7/4

COIL AND STRIKE has been tried over a variety of distances and occupied the runner-up berth over a mile last time. She can handle the return to sprinting and is slightly less exposed than Super Miss B Haven, who looks the primary threat. Gaby Vee and Witts Mambo Jack are capable of supporting roles.

11.21pm – Golden Bullet @ 6/4

Ameripoint won well over 6f but was previously left trailing in Ohtani’s wake. Neither is proven over a route, and the same can be said for Spotitude, whereas GOLDEN BULLET will relish the trip after struggling to keep up over sprint distances in allowance company.

11.48pm – Gone Preachin @ 7/2

Air Assault struggled over an extended mile but beat subsequent winner Big Hearted Factor over 6 1/2f prior to it, although he was one of Macandales’ victims on his 1m return in March. King Of Anything regained the winning thread last time, and Academy Bay isn’t out of it, but GONE PREACHIN has developed into a really consistent performer and he gets the nod.

12.15am – Friendly and Kind @ 13/8

FRIENDLY AND KIND accounted for Attitude Ajustment and A Kiss Goodnight emphatically over C&D and then ran another good race to beat dead-heaters Diva’s Diva and Irish Contessa to the runner-up berth. She has most to fear from last-start scorer Ryrysweetie

12.42am – Scooter’s Boy @ 13/8

SCOOTER’S BOY is on a steep upward curve and made it four victories on the bounce at the chief expense of Ourbestfriend D L over 6 1/2f here. He also holds Itsallaboutyou and Executive Decree on that evidence, and should continue on his merry way.

1.09am – Holiday Joke @ 5/1

HOLIDAY JOKE didn’t find much when push came to shove on his latest appearance, but he was denied here by just a neck before that and gets the vote on that basis. Rulethenight also has a slightly lacklustre display to atone for but remains a danger, as does Primarily Gold.
