GOT FLIGHT is as good as any in this race with a maiden win followed by handicap third at Compiegne when favourite in March. Good chance. Barsham has finished around the placegetters in recent starts and may do enough to win this. Paraponera Jem won at Deauville in December and has run a couple of decent races this year. Holds claims. Queen Flawless may be a maiden but her past two efforts have resulted in placings and she is not too far away from a win.

DIONYSOS is the form horse in the contest. Can run close to the lead and last start at Longchamp raced evenly to battle on for fourth. The one to beat. Rajastare was fourth here two outings back in what was a promising performance. Not seen since December. If reproducing could be a chance. Jenilat Chance wasn’t beaten all that far at this course two attempts ago. Place. Hapt holds outside claims.

SKALETTI is all class and has been well placed throughout his career. Last start G2 winner Longchamp in October. Should win. Danger is Plumatic a classy horse to this level. Secured G2 victory last May. Pretreville is progressive and first up for this season following Listed win at Craon. Nature’s Colors is lightly raced and consistent. This is a logical step following a Deauville Listed win in March. Impulsif and Stunning Spirit can place.

A top maiden with plenty of chances. SOLSTICIA ran home well to be beaten a neck at Longchamp in September and Alkandora was a nose second at Longchamp in October. Two good performances and both fillies may go forward. The debutante True Lolita is interesting racing for a strong stable with Pierre-Charles Boudot to ride. There are plenty of others to consider including Ebaiyra, Shalamba and La Vespiere.

MUSICAL MAST raced as favourite on debut and produced an even performance. First-up for this contest. Grey Falcon was in the market on debut at Compiegne in October and is trained by Andre Fabre. Respect. Lord Wellington is close to a win. Bois D’Argent is an interesting newcomer trained by Henri Graffard with Pierre-Charles to ride. If supported may pay to follow. Kourking can be considered.

Very competitive with a quality field. Value can be found. SARENDAM disappointed on seasonal reappearance in March but was in great form last year. Could bounce back. Saint Nicolas was a 3200m winner in December and whilst form has dropped away the step back up in distance will suit. Karlstad enjoys racing over this distance but hasn’t been seen since September. Fitness the query. Moonwalk Step must be included based on consistency though the query will be running out the trip.

SUDFAA is a strong stayer who was second beaten a neck last time out over 3400m in a handicap. Won three starts back and is the one to beat. Classic Pearl struggled final outing of 2019. Before that was second beaten a neck in a handicap over 2200m. Going up in distance and may feature. Finjaans Rose was a last time out winner who looks a chance of staying in handicap company. Tres Solid ran third in a claimer over the distance and will appreciate this test of stamina.

MAZELTOF was tried up in dist1ance last time out when well beaten. Previously a head second over 1600m in a handicap and is a top chance on this occasion. Devil’s Boy is a consistent handicapper who was fourth last time out but only beaten 1.35L. One to consider here. Zighidi won a claimer latest and has to be looked at back to handicap company. Fiamelca Doloise finished down the field past few outings and the drop in trip may help.

REINE DE LUNE went well over course and distance in a handicap when third beaten 2.5L. Looks a top chance. Myboygilles is a consistent handicapper. Third last time out at Deauville over 1500m beaten 2.25L. Player once again in this. Fire At Midnight and Samwell both have recent form to their names and are at least place chances.

MAKENJAR was fourth at Lyon la Soie last time out in a similar contest. Looks the one to beat with top jockey on board. Lenka is consistent in handicaps and this looks winnable. Interesting. Athena Star is bred for the all weather and only raced four times on the surface. Worth another try. Diamachal has been fair in handicaps and could be one to consider here.
