However, DECORATED FOR GOLD regained the winning thread with a fluent success under these conditions last time and could have more to offer on her third start at this venue.

SOUTHGATE finished third in a 55k event over track and trip last month and could prove difficult to beat if running to that level here. Don’t Tell Noobody boasts a progressive profile and arrives on the back of a determined success under these conditions last month, with the consistent Big Game Hunter also respected.

The runners with racecourse experience hardly set an insurmountable standard to aim at and LAGOON FALLS may prove strong enough to score at the first time of asking. Trainer Karl Broberg is operating at a 21% strike-rate at this meeting and recent workout times have been encouraging. She Singled Me Up and Prophetess Wisdom are others to note for market support on debut.

TULLE landed a stronger event on her penultimate start and although she found another rise in grade against her over track and trip last month, she could prove difficult to beat at this level from a favourable gate position. College Queen and Entrusted look the pair to concentrate on for minor honours.

TARUCA has hit the crossbar twice since switching to Will Rogers and proved he stays this far last time. He is just preferred to Momma’s Baby Boy, who dug deep to register a deserved success most recently. Coach Adams, Drifting West and Parched add further spice to a competitive affair.
22:15 Haleys Heist @ 5/2
Gray Sky Mesa doesn’t know how to run a bad race, while Whimsical Tale and Jim’s Angel filled the minor placings in a race in which favourite Madison’s Place fluffed her lines at the start. HALEYS HEIST has been competing in better races at Oaklawn, though, and can make a successful start to life with Jody Pruitt.

MYSTIC LINK began the year in allowance company at Sunland and did pretty well, so it will be disappointing if he doesn’t go very close now dropped into a claimer. Gambler is maintaining a good level of consistency and heads a list of dangers that also includes Past Visions.

Country Daisy just denied Spring Steen in a $55k event over 6f here, although neither is completely proven at this distance, so they are passed over in favour of INAGOODWAY. Karl Broberg’s mare will have been brought to her peak by three runs in 2020 and looks ready to strike.

Papa Mambo has been running well in defeat, but may have to settle for another supporting role because EREBUNI made all to number Tapindeed among her victims and this slightly longer trip is of no concern. Last-start 1m winner Sidepocket Bet should be finishing strongly.
