Horse Racing Tips: The traders have a tasty trixie for Lyon Parilly today

We've got that Friday feeling.

We head to Lyon-Parilly for a ten race Friday programme which is live on Sky Sports Racing and free to view on Paddy Power.com. The action gets underway at 10.15 and runs to 15.06. We’ve had a look at the later races on the card for an each-way Trixie. There’s plenty of extra place races on the card to take advantage of with Paddy and also a money-back special offer on the 13.24 race if your horse finishes 2nd, 3rd or 4th.

12.50 – Tirtza @ 12/1

Tirtza ran a cracker on debut when a closing second and I would expect S Dehez’s filly to come on a bundle for that. Le Croise where she made her debut wouldn’t be the strongest track in the world but the horse that beat her came out and ran a very good 5th in an 18 runner Longchamp handicap on Monday. Tirza should appreciate the extra distance and better ground here and with an extra place on offer with Paddy we’ll put our hopes in her to start off our each-way Yankee.

Not being greedy, a place will do at decent odds.

13.24 – In Swoop @ 3/1

Paddy is giving money back as a free bet if your selection finishes 2nd, 3rd or 4th in this race (singles only, terms & conditions apply). Andre Fabre’s Salesman would be the obvious pick of those with runs under their belt but was quite disappointing when beaten three lengths as a warm 6/5 fav on his 3-year-old debut in March.

He’ll be on a recovery mission today but it may pay to look for better value elsewhere. We’ll chance In Swoop whose trainer is well able to have them ready first up. He’s drawn beautifully in stall three and has hot jockey Pierre Charles Boudout handling the reins. Boudot has shown no rustiness from the few weeks off and rode a treble yesterday at Longchamp, his booking really catches the eye.

2.32 – Blue Diamond @ 9/1

Paddy once again is offering an extra place on this trappy 16 runner handicap. Restless is likely to be popular after a decent second placing in a similar race to this at Saint Cloud when last seen. However, his three runs on this type of ground were not his best so it could be worthwhile to look elsewhere.

With each-way value in mind, we’re going to chance Blue Diamond. Jul Phelipon’s charge won two starts back and he followed that up with a solid second at Compiegne on March 16th. He goes on all ground and is well drawn in stall six today. A repeat of any of his last two runs gives him a great chance of at least falling into the places and he looks a rock-solid each-way bet with the extra place on offer.
