Horse Racing tips: The Racing Post’s best bets for all ten Will Rogers Downs races today

A tasty ten for tonight's action in Oklahoma

7.15pm – Gold Note @ 10/3

GOLD NOTE has done enough in four starts this year to suggest he can win a maiden like this, and he may have improved for the recent stable switch. Others to keep an eye on are I’m A Star and Johnny Longboat.

7.45pm – Fred’s Country Boy @ 5/1

A competitive heat, in which FRED’S COUNTRY BOY has been in great nick and is difficult to get away from on a four-timer. L. A. Tower and I’m An Eight are a couple of others with claims.

8.15pm – Frontier Woman @ 9/2

FRONTIER WOMAN is holding her form admirably at present and looks the one to be on, though chances are also given to Quiet Spring, who has been knocking on the door of late, and Joy In The Journey.

8.45pm – Plenty Of Munny @ 13/8

PLENTY OF MUNNY has finished second in two of her last three starts and won’t get many better opportunities than this to break the maiden tag. Lil’ Shopper is interesting in this company and Pussycat Pussycat will surely better her debut eighth.

9.15pm – Hollywood Square @ 3/1

HOLLYWOOD SQUARE has been hammering on the door of late and could be let in this time, possibly at the main expense of Point Guard, who is holding his form well, and U S Special Forces.

9.45pm – Ancona @ 13/8

ANCONA has been in excellent nick this year and, having won her last three, is difficult to oppose. Diamond Legacy ran well for second last time and joins Checkerboard on the shortlist.

10.15pm – Ragan’s Jet @ 9/2

Gospel Lucille has been threatening to score and Okie Logic should go well from the front end again, but RAGAN’S JET caught the eye staying on fora half-length third once the penny dropped on debut and gets the nod with that experience expected to bring her on.

10.45pm – Shell Fire @ 11/8

SHELL FIRE was only beaten a length and a half when third in a more valuable C&D event last month and a repeat performance may suffice now eased in class. Daring Ego and Assay are feared most.

11.15pm – Love To Learn @ 5/1

LOVE TO LEARN has won both his starts at this venue in impressive fashion over this trip and a bold hat-trick bid looks likely now stepped up in class. Sweet Carolina brings some good form to the table and must be considered on her Will Rogers Downs bow, likewise Always Inthe Munny, who went close in a more valuable contest when last seen in February.

11.45pm – Crossing Dixie @ 6/4

CROSSING DIXIE has been knocking on the door, including when ahead of a number of these in second here last time out, and has a good chance to be let in today. A Guy Like Me was just half a length back in third on that occasion and rates a threat now back down in class, while Shawn Again is interesting following his maiden romp.
