Horse Racing tips: Take these 4 to score at Will Rogers Downs tonight

Might make a nice Lucky 15, tbf.

19:15 – MR MIDTOWN @ 2/1

We get underway at Will Rogers tonight with a one-mile claimer where it’s money-back as a free-bet if your horse is 2nd, 3rd, or 4th (T&Cs apply). Mega Honor should be forward but always finds one or two rivals too good with only one victory from nine-career starts at this venue.

Producer was ahead of our selection Mr Midtown when racing here two-weeks ago, but Scott Young’s runner should turn the form around tonight. His first two runs here at Will Rogers haven’t set the world alight, but he could take this under jockey Lane Luzzi. Most of the field will race off the pace and this should benefit a front-running performance from our selection.

20:15 – VALIANT APPEAL @ 6/4

A good allowance contest for our third race of the evening at Will Rogers with most of the field running well lately with a few meeting yet again. Secret Biscuit and Visual Punch have decent each-way chances, but favourite Valiant Appeal is our pick under jockey Lane Luzzi.

He has been racing well in good company of late and will not mind a slight drop in trip and will be raced forward under Luzzi.

21:15 – SWEET MEDICINE @ 11/4

Most of the field are making their racecourse debuts in this 5.5-furlong maiden special weight, where Paddy’s paying four-places instead of three in this affair. Kipper is the only horse with form in the book but returns after a 543-day break which makes Sweet Medicine our alternative selection.

The son of Munnings has been pleasing connections in recent workouts on track and trainer Francisco Bravo has his horses in good form. He’s had four winners and four horses placed from twelve runners in the past two-weeks, while his 2020 winning strike-rate with jockey Ry Eikleberry is currently 30 per cent.

22:15 – RIGHTEOUS MOVER @ 9/2

The lightly raced Deja Sue was impressive when winning here last month for trainer Scott Young and has every chance of following up again in this 6f claimer. However, with four places on offer in this race, our selection is Righteous Mover with Alfredo Jr Triana in the saddle. The three-year-old has been very consistent and it’s hard to see him out of the action for trainer Scott Young.
