Race 2 Gulfstream 6:15pm – Breakthrough @ 6/5
The market will tell us all that is required as far as this newcomers debut effort but we know that the trainer often has them fired up and ready to go, he wasn’t cheap at $330,000 at the sales, his work has been very sharp in the mornings and the best thing about this lineup is we have some top stables represented notably two from the Tod Pletcher stable, that will give us the best edge in as far as the market is concerned.

Race 8 Gulfstream 9:27pm – Reservenotattained @ 11/1
Looks to have been given a decent opportunity to get back to the winners enclosure, most of these have had plenty of opportunities to get that elusive second victory on the board, our runner switches back from the turf over 5 furlongs last time back up to a more suitable 6 furlongs on the dirt and looks to have the perfect pace scenario and also hold a class edge on the field, 11/1 morning line looks a ridiculous price.
Race 9 Gulfstream 9:59pm – Social Paranoia @ 16/5
Has been a big moneymaker for the team despite only winning three from 12 starts he has however finished in the top three on 11 of his 12 stars, it’s not going to be easy from his wide birth however he has a late running style that will be suited to the way this race should be run as we have a few pace angles, he might just not be at his ceiling at the moment.

Race 2 Tampa 6:00pm – Tiz Approved @ 8/11
Admittedly it’s a step up in class after an easy 9 1/4 length victory in maiden claiming $10,000 company last time, however, it was a huge figure posted considering how hard our runner went in the early stages over 7 furlongs, back down in trip he can be ridden aggressively and there is no reason to expect this won’t be a wire to wire victory from the inside stall position which is winning at a 22% strike rate at the moment.
Race 5 Tampa 7:31pm – Sunset Empire @ 5/2
Sitting at the top of the morning line price at 5/2 looks an enormous price for a serious class edge angle runner, all of those in the lineup have run for an $8000 claim last time out or less however the selection was running for $16,000 the last four occasions out on the track, class dropper in decent form from an inside birth there are lots of positives.
