Horse Racing tips: Try these 4 to score at Will Rogers Downs tonight

These should give you a run for your money.

Racing continues at Will Rogers Downs this Tuesday and Paddy has plenty of offers available on the card at the Oklahoma venue.

Race 1: 19:15 – Porsumsugaronme @ 2/1

WE get going with a 6 furlong maiden. PORSUMSUGARONME has been slightly unlucky so far in her career, finishing second in two of her three starts. This looks to be the ideal opportunity for this daughter of Kipling to break her maiden tag.

The selection was second 36 days ago over course and distance, on that occasion she was dropped out to the back of the field and given an impossible task by her jockey, she finished like a train but was unable to reel in the winner. David Cabrera, who is firing in the winners around here lately, is now on board and that is a significant booking. Expect Porsumsugaronme to be ridden more prominently and use her finishing kick to take the opener.

Race 3: 20:15 – Euromantic @ 9/2

A fascinating 5.5f race in store for these sprinters. Speaker Van will likely go off favourite and has been running in much better races than this around Oaklawn Park recently, but he has been drawn widest of all out in stall eight and may be vulnerable to a fresher opponent.

EUROMANTIC has a good second at Remington Park when last seen back in December, Floyd Wethey, Jr. is back on board today and he looks sure to go close here with the slight drop back in trip likely to suit. The selection has got winning form at six furlongs but was runner up on the only occasion that he tried this trip. If Euromantic breaks smartly he is more than capable of taking this.

Race 4: 20:45 – Ranger Bob @ 9/2

A one mile claimer in front of the runners and Paddy is money back if you are 2nd, 3rd or 4th in this race. RANGER BOB has all the tools necessary to win a race of this nature and looks to have a lot going in his favour. Trainer Steve Asmussen is operating at a 50 per cent strike rate over the last fortnight and he has struck up a great partnership with jockey Lane Luzzi – hitting a 30 per cent strike rate when they team up.

Ranger Bob has got winning form over 5f and has been a model of consistency lately with form figures of: 241344 in his last 6 races. The step up in trip should be no problem as Ranger Bob was second at Remington Park back in December when he last tried this trip.

Asmussen’s charge should be able to stay with the early pace and should be there or thereabouts at the finishing line, he looks a cracking bet with our special offer in mind.

Race 7: 22:15 – Soul Of Discretion each-way at 13/2

This looks one of the most open races at Will Rogers Downs today and Paddy’s paying 4 places.  So we’ll look for a bit of value with SOUL OF DISCRETION.

Olivo Inirio’s five-year-old has got winning form over 5 and 6f, so this trip should be right up his street. The selection was recently claimed by his new trainer and showed improved form when third in a similar race on his course debut at Will Rogers Downs 14 days ago.

On that occasion Soul Of Discretion was inconvenienced by a wide draw. The selection is drawn nicely in stall four  today and can use his early tactical speed to stay in touch with the pace, and if there is further improvement on his stable debut, he should be on the premises.

He looks a solid each-way proposition on these terms.
