With a packed card scheduled to take place in the Sunshine State, our punter wasted no time at all getting on the board when Elusive Ruler took the spoils in the first race – a 3YO only Maiden over a mile. Backed at 9/1, they held off the challenge of 12/5 favourite Turn Of Events to set the ball rolling on the turf.
This victory was immediately followed up in race two by a win for Nacho Papa in a 6f claimer. Sent off at 14/5, the Juan Alvarado-trained selection was backed by our Scottish staker at 9/2 and subsequently delivered on the dirt.
With two from two, our lucky punter didn’t have long to wait for their next success as Private Message stayed strong to see off 6/4 favourite Teenage Kicks in race four.
Again on the main dirt track, jockey Luis Saez piloted his 7/2 shot first past the post in the 6f Maiden Claimer – putting our gambler in a superb position to complete their special Saturday with eight races remaining.
And the Paddy Power traders were left wincing in the very next event as Jamaican upset the odds and secured a huge pay-out for the lucky Glaswegian. With a starting price of 121/10 but backed at 22/1, the outsider danced away from a competitive field and ensured that our punter enjoyed a very happy weekend.
Congratulations, spend it wisely and welcome to Paddy’s Hall of Fame!
