Row The Boat has been knocking at the door of late and ought to prove popular while Imperial Ivor remains open to further improvement on his fifth start and is respected.

However, Privilegio has been performing with credit in stronger races than this and may prove the answer back in calmer waters.

5.52pm – Langue Liee @ 6/4

Langue Liee has gone 12 starts without shedding the maiden tag but she got as close as she ever has when finishing a neck second over track and trip last month and she looks to have been found a golden opportunity to gain that elusive success.

Explosive Package and Daresca both finished third last time and look the pair to concentrate on for minor honours.

6.23pm – TAOS @ 11/8

Lord Dragon drops significantly in grade and looks capable of making his presence felt while Drillomatic has proven consistency personified of late and enters calculations.

However, Taos had that rival over four lengths behind when runner-up in a stronger event over a mile here last time and could prove difficult to beat.

6.52pm – La Belle De Course @ 15/8

A trappy wavier claimer for punters to solve, so only a tentative vote is for La Belle De Course, who brings good form to the table at a higher level.

Diamond News is a consistent performer and joins debut scorer Channeled’s Angel and the returning My Sister’s Keeper on the shortlist.

7.24pm – K’s Funhouse

K’s Funhouse has shaped with a bit of promise on his two starts to date and this could be the time to catch him.

Hellfire Bob is noted in first-time blinkers and Buffalo Max is another to keep an eye on.

7.56pm – Merengue @ 5/2

Cattleya is respected on debut for a hot yard and fellow newcomer Real Wild Solution has been working well, but preference is for the experience of Merengue, who has run well in defeat here the last twice and this looks a little easier.

8.27pm – Barrel Of Destiny

Barrel Of Destiny landed a similar C&D event (Better Yet third) earlier in the month and could be the safest bet in a tricky event.

Dangers abound in the shape of Igottawhiteface, Viva Forever and Haniel.

9pm – Connectivity

Connectivity was mixing and winning in better company last year and, after blowing away the cobwebs last month, could make the most of this drop in class.
