Horse Racing tips: The Racing Post’s best bets for every Tampa Bay race tonight

5.24pm – SUNSET EMPIRE @ 6/4 

Sunset Empire has her sights lowered considerably after contesting hotter sprints and won her only start over this longer trip, so gets the nod to make the most of the drop in class. Fellow grade dropper Nightstorm is feared on the back of a good second, while Patriotic Endeavor is another to consider.

5.52pm – LITTLE GUY @ 7/2

Little Guy ran out a facile winner of a C&D maiden last month and, open to further progress, he looks set for another big run here. Cpl. Dionicio and Majestic Melody will be no pushovers, though.

6.21pm – HAY HAY MY MY @ 7/4

Mozano should relish this drop in class and step up in trip, but Hay Hay My My has been threatening to score and is taken to gain a deserved success today. Silent Mischief would be a player if back on song after a lacklustre latest effort.

6.52pm – BACI @ 11/8

Baci looks the most solid on the back of her latest second-placed effort, but chances are also given to Calypso Key, who is improving between runs, and Chica Difisel.

Dude’s Secret accounted for a few of these when finishing second here three weeks ago and gets a confident vote to go one better. Lady Breanna heads the list of dangers from Valerie First.

7.55pm – UNCLE KEVIN @ 2/1

Uncle Kevin has acquitted himself well in a couple of stronger events here, particularly when just touched off on debut, and he will take a power of beating. Lebasi has shown some potential, but Victor Barboza’s Kantharos newcomer Gran Old Parr is the biggest danger.

8.26pm – CREDIT CYCLE @ 3/1

Credit Cycle has shown his versatility since winning over 6f here, occupying the runner-up berth over this trip and 5 1/2f. He is holding his form well and has the measure of C’Era Una Volta, Gettinintomischief, Early Deligh and Sky Point from his latest run. False Info drops in grade but is better on turf.

8.58pm – BUENO BUENO BUENO @ 11/8

Highwaytwentyseven made all to get off the mark over C&D, but could be taken on for the lead by Fort King and they bump into a couple of interesting class droppers. Logsdon now has the benefit of a recent run under his belt, but it’s possible that Bueno Bueno Bueno will have too much quality.
