Horse Racing Tips: Dive into these 5 at Gulfstream Park tonight

These could make a splash this evening

18:34 – HARTLING @ 5/4

It’s hard to look past the Michael Pino trained Hartling with Luis Saez keeping the ride in this one-mile claimer. The three-year-old drops back in grade having disappointed in a 50k event here earlier this month and a return to this level should see victory tonight. She was in exceptional form previously with four straight wins from December to February and expect her to race forward with Lady Archa the main danger.

If it’s still going, there are probably odds on it at PaddyPower.com

19:07 – PANAREA (NAP) @ 13/8

We have a 25k maiden claimer for our third race of the night at Gulfstream which looks a match between Panarea and Kozy Dreams. Panarea is the least exposed of the two-runners having finished a good third in a stronger contest here in February. Edgard Zayas remains in the saddle while trainer Antonio Sano has his horses in good form with four winners from his last nine-runners.

20:11 – WHAT’S INSIDE @ 10/3

Most of the field have been running consistently of late with Tiger Blood and What’s Inside having a rematch tonight following a battle here last month. At the prices, it might be wise to side with What’s Inside to reverse the form as the benefit of a strong pace set by both the race favourite and Frenchmen Street could prove fruitful.

20:43 – SIMPLE STORY (NB) @ 13/8

Golden Garter makes a track debut and returns after a 149-day lay-off since her last start at Woodbine in November. Zayes is back in the saddle on Lady Fiorella which is only a positive, but unexposed Simple Story is our selection in this seven-furlong claimer. She came off the pace to win gamely here last month and jockey Luis Saez has a 50% strike-rate this year when teaming up with trainer Stanley Hough.

22:17 – SLAM DUNK @ 7/4

Graceful Princess is an interesting contender making her first start for new trainer Todd Pletcher but has not raced since last September. Hunting Season is another for the shortlist, but the classy Slam Dunk is our selection taking on some older rivals here. She was an excellent third in the grade 1 Frizette last October before breaking her maiden in November and she clearly has some talent to win this race.
