We're getting that Florida Friday feeling again.

Step this way for Tampa Bay …

17:24 – SUNSET EMPIRE @ 11/8

Samy Camacho is back in the saddle aboard Sunset Empire in the opening race of the night at Tampa Bay. She steps back up in trip tonight and has her sights lowered having raced in hotter sprints this year and should take the beaten. Camacho has an excellent strike-rate for trainer Anthony Granitz this year securing two-victories from just three booked rides in 2020.

17:52 – CPL. DIONICIO @ 2/1

Little Guy scored in impressive fashion here last month and is open to striking again in this claimer for connections. CPL. Dionicio is the most consistent selection and will be knocking on the door again following several solid runs this year. Ger Bennet has booked red-hot jockey Daniel Centeno to ride which could make the world of difference tonight.

Centeno has secured seven winners from his last 10 rides since April 15th and is smoking hot right now at Tampa Bay.

19:25 – DUDE’S SECRET @ 4/1

Lady Breanna drops in grade for the powerful Bennett / Camacho combination in this 8.5-furlong claimer. She steps back up in trip tonight but has only recorded two career victories to date from 21 career starts for connections. Dude’s Secret has one victory and two second place finishes to her name here at Tampa and looks the safe pick – she had several of these in behind earlier this month and will not be too far away.

19:55 – UNCLE KEVIN @ 2/1

The booking of Daniel Centeno on newcomer Grand Old Parr is interesting with trainer Victor Barboza’s string running well this month. However, it’s hard to look past Uncle Kevin with the benefit of experience in better races here at Tampa to date.

He finished a good second on debut over this trip before coming fourth behind newcomer Sea Lover nearly four-weeks ago.

20:26 – WILL RUNAWAY @ 9/2 (each-way)

An open affair for a 7 furlong claimer with Credit Cycle, C’era Una Volta, Will Runaway and False Info among a handful of contenders. Credit Cycle had the measeure of several of these recently, but Will Runaway is our each-way selection.

Lindsey Raines has not had a runner finish outside the two places this month and this horse has been a model of consistency this year – it’s hard to see him out of the frame again tonight.
