The Racing Post's top 10 for the Oklahoma course today

7.15pm – LILA’S LUCKY LADY @ 7/1

Kiana’s Love did it the hard way at Turf Paradise and bids to make a successful Will Rogers debut, just as Love To Learn did at the start of the month. It may be worth taking them on with Lila’s Lucky Lady, who hasn’t been sighted since September but kept good company throughout 2019.

7.45pm – NATIVE RIVER @ 9/2

Assay beat Owen The Great to the runner-up spot over C&D, with Proud Moments just behind them, but may have to settle for another supporting role. That is because Native River was impressive when making all to break his maiden here, and will find this much easier than his latest assignment in a $15k claimer.

8.15pm – TEXAS LONG BOW @ 5/2

The lack of a recent run showed when Texas Long Bow couldn’t finish his race off strongly over track and trip. It will have helped bring him to the boil, though, and he is preferred to the returning Unleash The Beast. Cheers And Prayers is also in with a shout.

8.45pm – INDIAN GEM @ 7/2

Honest N Lucky is two from two since returning to this venue, but was put in her place by Paddy O at Delta before that. Undivided numbered Perfectly Precious among her victims last time, but maybe Indian Gem can take advantage of a slight drop in grade.

9.15pm – SOUTHGATE @ 7/4

Southgate has contested $400k and $200k races on his last couple of outings and will relish this easier assignment. He can force Great Faces to settle for the runner-up berth again, a position he occupied on his first two starts. Caney’s Ghost completes the shortlist.

9.45pm – HOBOKEN @ EVS

Hoboken has the made the frame in much better races than this at Churchill Downs and Sam Houston, and it will be disappointing if he can’t capitalise on having his sights lowered. Corky and World have also been knocking on the door, with Therunawayrocket one to consider at longer odds.

10.15pm – CONCRETE FINISHER @ 6/4

The penny has dropped for Concrete Finisher since he switched to this venue and he built on a couple of encouraging placed efforts to run away with a maiden claimer. This requires more of him, but he could be up to it. Oklahoma Line is the logical danger, with Daring Ego next best.

10.45pm – OUR MUSICAL MOMENT @ 3/1

Pretty Britches hammered Award It last time but was previously a good distance behind Our Musical Moment at Sam Houston. The daughter of Bellamy Road usually mixes it at a higher level than this and her quality can shine through. Ten Count Out is interesting on her first start for Karl Broberg.

11.15pm – KANSAS CITY ZIP @ 6/5

Quality Rocket and Fearless Will have both competed in stakes company so have to be respected at this level. Man U is a contender if allowed another uncontested lead, but Kansas City Zip has been in fine fettle at Sam Houston and he gets the nod.

11.45pm – HOT’N NOTTY @ 7/4

Patriot won well over 5 1/2f on his Will Rogers debut but he is yet to really show his true colours at this distance so is passed over in favour of Hot’n Notty. Robertino Diodoro’s new recruit showed good form at Golden Gate and will be hard to hold out if producing that here. Westmont is in with a shout too.
