5:28pm Tampa Bay Downs – My Boy Lenny @ 1/2
Let’s get off to a flyer in the opening race of Saturday’s meeting with an incredibly solid trainer/jockey combination of Gerald Bennett and Daniel Centeno.
My Boy Lenny was re-claimed last time by our trainer and his record at Tampa Bay Downs is very impressive with six runs and three victories.
He may well get a bit of pace pressure on the front end but he stays this trip well and should hit the line strong.
7:28pm Tampa Bay Downs – Ty Ran A Homer @ 8/1
Ty Ran A Homer looks a very generous price on the morning line odds and it will be interesting to see if the money comes for this runner.
He has been keeping fairly decent company and running consistently well at another racetrack and switches back to Tampa where he has a 100% record.
Although drawn a little wide in stall 8, it shouldn’t be a problem as he has the length of the straight to find a position.

6:45pm Gulfstream Park – Palace Two Step @ 5/2
Looking for her first victory here since shipping over from Woodbine, Palace Two Step is a lightly-raced runner who is only having her sixth start tonight.
She has a big ticket to improve, over the minimum and with young Christian Torres taking off a valuable 5lb she will carry only 8st1lb.
If able to dominate from the gate, she will be incredibly tough to catch under these weights. Orders to the jockey will be point and shoot.
8:48pm Gulfstream Park – Seize The Hay @ 10/3
Quite a decent maiden special weight with $45,000 up for grabs and some of the top handlers are represented.
Todd Pletcher trains our contender Seize The Hay and this three-year-old colt put up a decent performance when well-punted on his debut, getting the message late on and fairly flying as the line loomed.

9:53pm Gulfstream Park – Art of Almost @ 3/1
Although she took six tries to break her maiden status, Art of Almost has since then been sharply moved up into G3 and G2 company.
She quite clearly failed to stay the mile-and-three-furlong trip last time, but taking a big drop in grade and switching back in distance to a more suitable mile can see her get back into the winner’s enclosure on her first try around this track. She looks the class of the field
