Horse Racing Tips: Timeform’s six best bets at Tampa Bay and Gulfstream tonight

6.21pm Tampa Bay Downs – My Sister’s Keeper @ 4/1

My Sister’s Keeper hasn’t yet proven as effective on dirt as she has on turf, but she is certainly bred to be a decent main-track performer and is taken to show that today.

She does have a layoff to overcome, but her recent works suggest she should be sharp enough to do herself justice.

7.25pm Tampa Bay Downs –  Not Telling @ 9/1

While Just Shoot Already looks clearly the one to beat in this maiden claimer, he’s had a few chances now so a punt is taken on Not Telling to improve past him.

The selection showed a bit of ability when third on debut and looks a potential improver, particularly now he gets Lasix for the first time.

7.39pm Gulfstream Park – Garner State Park @ 5/2

There’s no doubt Garner State Park is among Todd Pletcher’s lesser lights, but she showed enough when third on debut to suggest she’s up to winning a small race such as this.

Doing all her best work late on having been sluggishly away, the selection will be sharper today and leading jockey Luis Saez keeps the ride.

8.58pm Tampa Bay Downs – Town Classic @ 7/4

Town Classic has been recording strong figures of late and should get a good pace to run at from his outside stall in this allowance optional claimer.

Zorb comes here off the back of a win but it has to be a little disconcerting that he hasn’t been seen since that good effort in December.

9.15pm Gulfstream Park – Reservenotattained @ 5/1

In a wide-open contest, a chance is taken on Reservenotattained, who hasn’t been seen since breaking his duck nearly two years ago but appears to be working well for this belated return.

Woodbine shipper Souper Shenanigan may be the one to capitalise if the selection isn’t quite at his peak.

10.47pm Gulfstream Park – Magic Street @ 9/2

Victor Lebron will have to work out a bit of a trip from stall 12 on Magic Street, but if he can, this colt has every chance of breaking his duck on the class drop.

A son of Magician, Magic Street is bred to be a useful performer and he’s already shown promise in stronger races than this maiden claimer.
