Horse Racing Tips: We’ve got a Traders’ Yankee you need to be on for Gulfstream

Live on Sky Sports Racing, folks.

Gulfstream Horse Racing US dirt

We head to Gulfstream Park for a busy 10 race Friday night programme which is live on Sky Sports Racing. Everyone has their system but yours truly is going to chance an Each-Way Yankee tonight on four horses at decent odds. Fingers crossed but we’ll be happy to just land the place part of the bet for a decent return. C’mon, be Lucky!

6.00pm – Strong Ending @ 11/2

Winning Factor made no impression on an easy winner when second over slightly further on March 19th. That was the fourth time he’s had to settle for second place in his 10 race career and we think he’s more likely to place than win. Strong Ending never landed a blow when favourite in this class last week. The wide draw is a bit of a worry but we’ll chance him at a value price.

6.34pm Consillium @ 6/1

Silver Maker hasn’t set the world alight in both starts to date but he takes a drop in class here and is likely to have his supporters. He could be worth taking on at likely short odds so for a bit of value we’re going to chance Consilium. Antonio Sano’s colt has been running well in defeat in this class lately and could be due his turn in the winner’s enclosure.

8.08pm – Gorgeous Grey @ 13/2

Agodonal was only beaten two short heads when third over course and distance on March 5th. She had to work hard for an early lead from a wide gate that day and the switch to the rails here is a big help. The fly in the ointment could be the quirky Gorgeous Grey. George Weaver’s new stable recruit has thrown in the towel late on in a couple of her races but with the stable in good form lately, we wouldn’t be surprised if she ran well here and picked up some prize money.

9.10pm – For Kicks @ 12/1

Paddy’s paying four places on this race so long as at least 10 of the entries take part. Gioelli looks to have a decent chance having run well over this trip in a better race in February. With the extra place on offer we’re going to side with Sandra Matier’s charge For Kicks. The 5-year old mare will be doing her best work from halfway and would be well capable of picking up a place here if finding her December 27th form where she caught the eye finishing with a flourish.
