Mardi Gras Girl proved a disappointment last time but she was bumped at the start and looks worth another chance. Main danger Lady Breanna will be suited by switching back to dirt from turf, while Tale of V K comes here at the top of her game and should also be thereabouts.

The Barclay Tagg team are in great form at the moment and Hail Michigan makes plenty of appeal switching back to dirt from turf in a weak maiden claimer. Todd Pletcher’s Silver Maker is sure to be popular but it has to be a concern that this $800k purchase is now in to be claimed for just $12.5k on only his third start.

Youshouldbesolucky has largely been running well of late and should give another good account in this turf claiming contest. Positive Phil put up a good showing when third over C&D last time and can prove the main threat, while Smell of Roses is another that should go well.
